Different Forms of Havan Kund
What is Yagya kund?
Yajna Kunds (fire altars) are powerful energy centers where we invite divine forces. The special shape of the Havan kund is known to create and store a unique energy field that has properties to stop the growth of bacteria. The Agni Kund, also known as Havan Kund, has a distinct shape that helps in the controlled creation and spreading of energy in different directions.
Why is Yagya Kund Used?
We all know that Yagya is one of the best rituals to reach our prayers to god. For invoking the Gods, we need a calm and pure place for worship and food offering. Agni is an element that is considered to be the purest element for prayer as well as food offering. When Agni is burnt in the Havan Kund (known as the energy centers), the Havan Samagri, and Mantras Jap reach the god and also purifies the surrounding because the Samagri burnt has the natural property to purify the environment.

Why is Havan Kund Made of Different Types?
The Havan Kund design is based on the belief that the geometric form of the altar resonates with the intentions of the persons for whom the Yagya is performed. Our great Indian sages knew about this and by using their Vedic wisdom, they developed Yagya Kund with different shapes and with different measurement in angul.yava.yuka (cm).
Yagya helps wash away bad deeds (karma) from the past like burning leaves in a fire. It also makes good karma for the future, like planting new seeds for good things to grow! It’s like a special ceremony with fire offerings, where everything is perfectly planned and peaceful.
